Hi, my friends. Long time no see.

Fireworks

The first fireworks to welcome 2023 are displayed on Sydney Harbour, Australia. Three hours later, Hong Kong rang in 2023 with a spectacular multimedia show over Victoria Harbour. Next, the majestic fireworks wrapped the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, set off over the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, and lighted up the London skyline. 16 hours after Australia entered 2023, loud cheers are taking over Time Square, New York.

Endgame

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Avenger: Endgame ended in 2023. The Avengers finally defeated Thanos and half of all life erased by Thanos reversed, but we lost Iron Man and Black Widow.

In our actual universe, we are also in a 3-year “Endgame” with COVID-19. We will finally defeat this pandemic in 2023. Although we cannot reverse the people who lost in this 3-year, our lives will return to the proper “timeline”. Our society will restart. And our civilization will be reborn.

My 2023 in Medium

In 2023, It will be my 3rd year of writing in Medium. I shared my technical experience here, my feelings, and my insights. In Medium, I have gained more than 1k followers, they like my articles, and they are one of my sources of writing motivation. I am willing to do my best to write more exciting stories for them in the new year.
